  • Each of three isomeric cyclic amines which are partially reduced derivatives of pyrrole having the formula C₄ H₇ N; a substituted derivative of any of these compounds.

    The most important isomer (more fully "3-pyrroline") is CH₂·CHCH·CH₂·NH, a colourless, basic liquid obtained by reduction of pyrrole with nascent hydrogen.
